Our Founder

Karen R. Giorno

Karen R. Giorno is a prominent figure in American politics who started her career in the East Wing of the White House during President George H.W. Bush’s administration. She is well known and highly regarded in both the public and private sectors. With thirty years of experience as a senior aide and advisor to Presidents and First Ladies, Giorno has served under multiple presidential administrations, including George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and Donald J. Trump. She served as Senior Advisor and Florida Chief Strategist in the 2016 Trump for President campaign, playing a crucial role in securing the President’s decisive primary victory, which earned him the Republican nomination. Giorno has continued to nurture and maintain strategic relationships with MAGA powerbrokers and the Trump White House.

For over a decade, Giorno held key positions at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City, where she successfully supported the institution’s $400M capital campaign and the global promotion of its mission to discover, interpret and share knowledge about the natural world, human cultures and the universe. She established its External Affairs Office and federal lobbying program. Through her connections in Washington, D.C., she played a crucial role in securing funding for the iconic Rose Center for Earth and Space, forging a legacy partnership with NASA and assisted in the creation of the National Center for Science Literacy, Education and Technology.

Karen is the founder and president of Earhart Turner, a boutique advisory firm that provides federal, state, and international government relations, media affairs, strategic communications, advocacy and electoral campaigns. Her network and resources have built and enhanced the brands of high-profile clients across several sectors. Her understanding of historical context, messaging and media enables her to create impactful and widely resonant narratives. She has been the primary architect of numerous successful public advocacy campaigns and initiatives, domestically and internationally, and is recognized for setting concrete, measurable goals while delivering exceptional results.

A sough-after media commentator, Karen frequently contributes to major networks such as Fox News, CNN, ABC, NBC, and Newsmax. She has also been quoted and featured in publications including the New York Times, the Washington Post, and Rolling Stone. Her speaking engagements include lectures at Peterhouse College, Cambridge and the Henry Jackson Society, as well as an address to Members of U.K. Parliament.

Giorno holds a B.A. in Political Science and Communications from Marymount University and graduated with honors. She resides in Washington, D.C. and West Palm Beach, Florida.
